Review from Guidestar

My son, Kaleb, has autism and received a service dog from ASDA and we have never looked back. I am a veterinarian and I know the healing power that animals can offer people. Chewey is such a smart and beautiful dog. He works very hard taking care of Kaleb and keeping him safe. ASDA has become a part of my family and made us whole again. This is a wonderful organization and needs donations to be able to continue helping families like ours.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

by seeing the change in my son and the life of our family. We are able to live life to the fullest and Chewey is making that possible.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

work on spreading it out over another part of the United States so that more people could receive the benefits that they have to offer.

Our grandson Kaleb was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. Life as we all knew it changed with that diagnosis. Kaleb was unable to face life situations and even the smallest issue could become a nightmare. That was before "Chewey " came into Kaleb's life and the world became a less frightening place. Chewey is a yellow Lab that was trained by ASDA and has now become Kaleb's best friend and lifeline. This animal is a miracle and it is all because of ASDA and the work they do for autistic children. These dogs make life situations possible again for the children and their families. We can not begin to express our gratitude for what Chewey has done for Kaleb and our entire family.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing the benefits that my grandson Kaleb has enjoyed since receiving his service dog. Kaleb is able to experience life and all it has to offer, now that Chewey is by his side. With Chewey, there is no limit to what Kaleb can do with his life. What a miracle this dog is to our family!

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

encourage them to keep getting the word out to the public about how important these dogs are to autistic children and what a difference this can make in their lives.
