I have volunteered with the Atlanta Union Mission-Village Atlanta Transitional Home for women and children for over 13 years. This Christian program has touched many lives and enabled many families to get back on their feet and live productive, healthy, Christian lives. Each year my co-workers, family, friends and church provide a Christmas party for all of the residents so that the Holiday is happy for them even though their circumstances may not be perfect. Typical comments from the residents both young and old are "that this is the best Christmas they ever had." I hope to continue this tradition as long as possible.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

provide on-site daycare and after school program for the families. This type of assistance would be extremely helpful to the mothers that are trying to get back on their feet and want to keep their families together.
