Damsel Records sponsored a benefit show for the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women & Children in October 2010 and we were / are just so impressed with how the shelter operates. They are very caring and organized and Rev. Leslee and Ginny are just a pleasure to work with. We thank them for being leaders in the Atlanta Community in providing food, shelter, counseling, and the necessary tools to help the homeless and those in need. We look forward to partnering with the Atlanta Day Shelter again in the near future.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Happy I could help. If everyone contributed just a little of themselves to their community, we could make a huge difference in the world.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make sure the clothing that's donated is organized. There was a huge pile of unsorted, disorganized donated clothing in the center of the wardrobe room when I toured the facility. Also, I think they could do a better job communicating to their regular donors regarding immediate needs. At holidays, I was told they were in need of gifts for teenage girls when I was dropping off my donations. If I had known a week sooner, I could have rallied on this. Overall, the staff is doing an amazing job.
