Arkansas Women in Agriculture gives a unique opportunity for women in Arkansas to develop skills to increase sustainabilty and profitabilty of very diverse agriculture enterprises. The opportunity to attend information and learning sessions, interact with professionals and insiders, and develop a network of support for ongoing and future information was a very valuable resource for me as a educator and and as a farmer.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

As an Extension Agent and Farmer speaking to this group I was able to give the latest scientific research to real producers in a manner that allowed them to implement best management practices and improve their farming practices.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Increase available resources to support educational programs on a county, district or regional level. I would also encourage development of additional salaried employees to support current staff and volunteers.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Very understanding of the many demands made on women professionally and personally and the importance of balancing those demands.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Competent and interested in having a organization that would make a difference.

Ways to make it better...

I would prioritize the opportunities to participate in activities that would give me longterm benefits.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Volunteers are leaders in industry and professional groups with a lot of demands on their time.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Agriculture ia a very dynamic challenging field that is constatntly changing; up to date resources and networking are key for success.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
