I was visiting my Mom in Phoenix in June and had the opportunity to hear Arizona Women in Tune sing. Wow! I have performed with the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee as well as the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus under the direction of Margaret Hawkins. In addition, I have sung professionally. It's hard to believe this is an all-volunteer and non-audition choir! They are a joy to hear and I can tell they work really hard to be so excellent! If I were to live in the Phoenix area, I would be honored to be accepted into this choir!

Arizona Women In Tune is a wonderful community of passionate women who love to be together and sing. The new artistic director, Dr. Lucik Aprahamian is a very talented musician who is bringing her expertise to the women of AZWIT with precision and just the right touch of humor. One aspect of our mission is to increase lesbian visibility and I believe that the community can be proud of this hardworking group of allies as we strive to bring an excellent woman-identified interpretation of songs to our performances. You can count on AZWIT to deliver their audience a delightful concert experience.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My experience with AZWIT has been rewarding. Dr. Aprahamian teaches us to bring out our best tone and succinct rhythm as we learn to blend our voices with joy in our hearts. My zealous drive to express myself musically is being fullfilled through singing with this group. Everyone I have been getting to know has been friendly, accepting and generous of heart toward me during my first season as a singing member of AZWIT.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I think AZWIT is on an upward learning path. We are growing in our unity of sound together to bring our audience an ever greater musical listening experience.
