I hve been invovled with ARISE since its inception. ARISE spends 24/7 with a single minded purpose to have yugh pople make better life choices. ARISE lives by the Abraham LIncoln quote, " I am not concerned that you have fallen, I am concerned that you arise". ARISE helps youth who have makde mistakes but they always look at what they have done well and build from that point always understanding the factors that make up postive yuth devleopment. ARISE believes all youth can arise.

The ARISE Foundation has a wealth of information for children and teens. Provided in their curriculum are such titles as Teen Anger Danger, Gangs 50+ Stories of Fractured Lives and Life Skills for Young Folks. The books are easy to understand and packed with valuable lessons. Each structured lesson is interactive, engaging, to-the-point and anything but boring. ARISE trains juvenile justice officers, school administrators, probation officers or anyone with an interest in working with at-risk youth how to become certified Life Skills Instructors. The Life Skills instructors learn valuable lessons along the way and are highly motivated to reach and help those in their care.

ARISE helps at-risk youth by teaching them the life skills they should have learned from the adults and authority figures in their lives.

Please! Help ARISE, help others... Please!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Working with the founders, Edmund and Susan Benson. Watching their enthusiasm with each training, webinar or new life-skills book (or as Edmund calls them -- his children). And, the excitement as ARISE curriculum is being used around the world and making a difference to so many.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make this curriculum available to every young person in every school and in every neighborhood to educate before the troubles start.

As of 4/26/2011, ARISE has certified over 5,457 Group Facilitators who have gone on to teach more than 5,400,000 documented hours of interactive ARISE Life Skills lessons for at-risk youth and teens across the United States and beyond.

Its founders, Edmund and Susan Benson have dedicated
their golden years to helping at-risk youth become good citizens by writing and publishing curricula that have been proven extremely effective in evidence-based studies. Recently, they have provided their materials free of charge to be used by former child soldiers in Uganda as well as in other third world countries.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have first hand knowledge of the dedication of the founders to the goal of giving at-risk youth a second chance.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure that they get more exposure in the media and the community so that they would be able to continue this wonderful mission.
