Wouldn't it be terrible if a reporter. with a hidden camera posed as a potential buyer to expose this organization for what it really is.

Two people I know that adopted horses from Christy Sheidy AC4H they are currently being campaigned as show horses and are dong extremely well Both are TB's off the track. These were broker owned horses. If not given the chance to be seen on the broker pages they would have shipped to slaughter. Christy gives those horses a chance at life. The previous person stated they are being investigated by the FBI, this is just more false allegations and libel....Christy also educates the public about the horrors of horse slaughter and works continually with schools in her area to help educate the children about it. Our family and friends will always support and donate to AC4H

First off Ms. Schrock is not telling the truth as per usual. Christy's farm is in Pa. The Pocono's in Pa are not several hundred miles as Sally has mentioned in this article from AC4H in Bernville. Please take a moment and look up Sally Schrock or Sarah Schrock on Google she has scammed so many people it isn't funny any more. She is damaging all rescues. Dog and horse rescue. Sally is supported by many fake rescues. She is their mouthpiece and is used as a weapon against AC4H. Sally has even taken to harassing and stalking Christy's minor children. She is truly a sick individual. I have done my research on AC4H and their is NO proof of any wrong doing. This is just an attempt to assassinate Christy and the rescue by some people that really have some serious mental issues.

its so sad to see this ac4h take advantage of these sick horses..canada will not take sick lame horses...so they cant ship them to slaughter instead they tell people they are going to be shipped to slaughter and make money off these horses to people who actually care about the horses..my question is when someone pays a bail for a horse to go to a rescue and then the horse has been some how sold by the broker...so they have to take some of the money n put it towards another horse thats more money soo more funrasing is needed..hmmm that doesnt seem right....and why are they sending horses to people who buy them carrying strangles and rhino...? isn't there a law about this? be prepared to pay a big medical bill when u buy a horse from them..if all these people want to say horses why not just go to the auction and out bid christy and brian moore and the other kill brokers brian moore wont pay more then $275 for a horse..so instead of u paying 800 to ac4h u can get the horse for 300 maybe 500 at the auction...before u go get a horse from ac4h go vist a auction and u do the math cut out the middle man completey

I had a great experience with ac4h. The horse was exactly as shown on the video and photos. He was mild-mannered, very well-fed and sweet. He just truly needed "Another Chance" People that bash animal rescue have to understand that they are up against a ticking clock. And yes, horses do get shipped to Canada all the time to meet a horrendously terrifying death. Watch the videos. I am happy to report that all ended well, they work their butts off over there, and somehow the connection between the kill buyer and the rescue works to the horses' advantage. Sounds weird but horses ARE getting another chance via the program. They do advocate quarantine, as would anyone with auction experience. Get over the politics of it all, and give one horse another chance.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Perhaps pay someone to just work full-time to answer all the thousands of questions the public has about the actual process.

Be very careful of these people, total scam..They push sick, old, lame, and emaciated horses that the KB's dont want to risk shipping to slaughter.

I would recommend you do a google search for ac4h scams before getting involved with them. Of course BETH FROM NEER APPROVES, SHE TAKES THE HORSES OTHER PEOPLE PAY FOR AND SELLS THEM FOR PROFIT.

Absolutely DO NOT TRUST this group. They will take your money and then tell you the horse has gone. Then you find out later the horse was given to a friend of Christies. Often sold horses go to their new owners and they suddenly change colour because the dorsal stripe or colourations were painted on. The amount of fraud this group practices regularly needs to be investigated fully...again! It is beyond belief that you can have a group who preys so heavily on well meaning people who genuinely want to help save the horses. Karma will come around for them and hit them heavily and many of us are waiting. Do NOT support them under any circumstances!!!

take away their status as a rescue, I would do an audit and an indepth investigation....and I would get the handcuffs ready.

I found my heart horse from the broker program at AC4H. She was a horse I had a few years ago and I thought I gave her to a good friend. That didn't happen and my horse disappeared. A month ago my friend saw my horse on the website, a flashy paint and when I checked, it was her. I contacted Christy and she and her volunteers were wonderful. They helped me get her quarantined since I didn't have the place to do it here with the other horses and now my girl is finally home safe and sound. I love these guys and I will be eternally thankful for all of their help.

I would make them more accessible. It takes patience for Christy to get back to me, but she's really busy with the horses. She needs more help.
