I was so excited when I first learned about the Annie Appleseed Project. I attended their CAM for Cancer conference in February 2015, and it was everything I hoped it could be and more. Not only were there knowledgeable presenters and interesting exhibits; the food was fantastic (and organic of course), and it was so special to be surrounded by like-minded people who are on a journey similar to my own. The interaction between the audience and presenters was rich, and I learned so much from the Q&A at the end of each session. There are few available sources of such quality and comprehensive information on integrative medicine. This is cutting-edge material - access to timely information is critically important when dealing with cancer. I follow their posts on Facebook eagerly and usually find they are packed full of valuable information. Great organization!

Annie Appleseed Project is providing excellent information and a really useful service to those with breast cancer.

When a colleague of mine shared her experience of having cancer, I immediately sent her Annie Appleseed's link. What Ann offers is a life-line to cancer survivors. This project is a confidence booster, and guaranteed to make anyone feel less isolated and/or depressed.

Fantastic conference. At Annie Appleseed conferences you will hear from experts and patients, enjoy the company of other survivers and thrivers and you will be well fed....I always have to mention this, as with many conferences, the food is awful and unhealthy. To attend a conference and learn about healthy eating, lifestyle and treatment choices and copious amounts of useful info and then eat garbage is somehow unsettling to me. Never the case with Ann's conferences...I am a survivor, the Executive Director for another NP, and a coach for others with cancer, and I wouldn't miss the Annie Appleseed conference!

The Annie Appleseed Project is great. They care about the people. I am impressed year after year on all the information that comes forth to educate the general republic. I have also listed them on our new non-profit website.

I have meet Annie as she is part of the National Breast Cancer Coaltion in which I am a member.

This organization provides one of the better and more complete collections of information on cancer treatment alternatives. Cancer patients have to understand that current cancer practices in the US are far more driven and dominated by medical dogma* and business preferences than they are by therapeutic efficacy and science. Other credible sources of information are needed. The information provided by the Annie Appleseed Project can help to overcome the restricted views that conventional medicine often imposes on cancer patients and their loved ones.
*Dogma: A belief or point-of-view, presented as authoritative, that is not scientifically proven.

I refer people to this non profit all the time. It is one of the greatest sources of information, accurate information about integrative and alternative therapies for cancer patients. Ann keeps up to date on the most current information, she is a tireless advocate for patients and a voice of reason in a crazy system of disease.

I have attended an event earlier this year hosted by the Annie Appleseed Project. It was very informative and meeting the needs of those in attendance. -Dr. Michael Haley

Ann (Annie Appleseed Project) is empowering others by sharing her expertise and allowing us to become more knowledgeable about how to deal with cancer on a day to day basis. Ann has a gift and is very loving in sharing her own journey. Once you attend one of her conferences or even just spend a little time on her web-site(you will be learning so much from her site that you could spend hours there, so relax with a cup of tea and enjoy the experience!) you will be more peaceful about the cancer journey.

The AnnieAppleSeedProject, through intelligent, scientific inquiry, continues to bear fruit, nourishing the community of people with a cancer diagnosis with information on little known treatment options. The benefits of this knowledge, delivered with compassion and generosity, are life enhancing and life changing. The value produced with every dollar donated is beyond measure. This is an extra-ordinary organization worthy of support.

The Annie Appleseed Project has been a most impressive and effective force for education and awareness. The 2010 conference did a remarkable job of bringing together health professionals, cancer victims and their families. The entire presentation was a poignant reminder that cancer affects us all. The combination of personal stories with professional guidance created a positive experience out of such a tragic subject. THANK YOU ANN for all that you do and all that you are! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the conference and continuing support of this endeavor. Beth Ellen DiLuglio, MS, RD, CNSD, CCN NutritionMission.org
