I am attempting to get an Animal Abuser Registry restarted in California. ALDF Director of Legislative Affairs Stephan Otto has been of the greatest assistance to me in helping our State Assemblyman put this together. I know that he has played a large part in helping the two New York Counties start theirs as well!

I see the results of their work as I work on-line. Stronger anti animal cruelty laws (felonies) have been enacted where there once were only misdemeanors. Awareness has grown. ALDF attorneys have stepped in and assisted in cases when there was no money to defend the defenseless. A voice for the voiceless.

There are few groups as effective as the Animal Legal Defense Fund within the animal protection movement. I know when i give to ALDF it is going to directly help animals. I'm thankful such a group exists that is truly making a difference for animals. Thanks to all at ALDF for the work you do to make this a better world for the non-human animals with whom we share this planet-- and for speaking up for those without a voice.

The ALDF is a wonderful organization that has done a lot to help get justice for animals. I really appreciate everything they've done on behalf of Tony the Truck Stop Tiger in Louisiana, as well as all of their efforts to promote the humane treatment and protection of animals.

The Animal Legal Defense Fund is an important organization because they defend the rights of those who are truly innocent and have no voice. They have championed for many different animal welfare issues and one that I am truly indebted to them for is that of Tony The Truck Stop Tiger. ALDF's commitment and dedicated efforts led to a victory in obtaining a permanent injunction barring the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries from issuing any further permits to Tony's owner. ALDF continues to advocate on behalf of Tony for his early release. All animals deserve our respect and protection; the vital work of The Animal Legal Defense Fund ensures that animals and their rights will be defended, and laws to protect them will be enforced.

When I lost my job last year, I knew I could only donate to a precious few causes anymore...I had to choose carefully. Ultimately, I chose ALDF alone. Through my animal rights circles, as well as my own research, I kept noticing how proactive the ALDF was on important issues. It consistantly provided detailed information to its followers which instilled confidence in me that my donations were being put to good use. I will donate to ALDF as long as I can!

Thank you so much for your work to all animals. Thank you from a special place in my heart for Tony the Truck Stop Tiger in Grosse Tete, LA. Your work finally bringing this injustice to trial with a successful out coming and good luck on your hearing in August for an immediate withdrawal of the permit to exhibit Tony in this cruel way.

Other non-profit animal organizations seem to place a bucket underneath a leaking faucet of animal problems; whereas, the ALDF works to fix the leak. The ALDF is a great organization and will be my only charity for life.

I hate to think of what this world would be like without the Animal Legal Defense Fund. As a person who has always been very tuned into animals, I am particularly disturbed when I read about animal abuse or neglect, anything from bringing children to watch dogfighting, to a person with mental problems who has stabbed to death the pet of his girlfriend who has jilted him. Since the animals have no voices, we count on ALDF. They are worth their weight in gold.

You are an awesome organization and so needed because the animals can't speak for themselves, but are now being heard by people such as you.
Thank you for roaring to Tony the Tiger and going to court for him. Hopefully you will be successful in getting him released sooner than December. But either way, all of us who have been roaring for him for so long are most grateful to you for fighting for his right to live a peaceful life instead of being an instrument for amusement and greed.

I support the Animal Legal Defense Fund for the legal impact they have on animal welfare and safety. I enjoy receiving news and updates via facebook and feel more aware of issues that impact animals. I think they are positive force animal welfare and feel positive they are making a difference!
