I was a former board member and volunteer of this organization. I saw issues with them as far back as 2005. Poor records, poor cash management, outright theft from the director, allowing children to clean cages, no rules, regulations or procedures. Several of us tried to clean up the organization, tried to establish policies and procedures and worked tirelessly only to no avail. You could only do so much when you constantly butted heads with Paula, Cheryl and her family. So we gave up and left.
