I have been involved with Angel Covers as both a volunteer and a sponsor for about 7 years now. I found this wonderful non profit when I was looking to donate some books and clothes that were no longer needed by our family. I knew from the first conversation I had with Kari, to the picture that arrived with the children receiving my items, that this was something special. The smiles on the childrens faces from receiving basic needs was just heartwarming. I also volunteer, so I see first hand the good that Angel Covers does to help children all over the world. I can not say enough good things about Angel Covers and the work they do! They are truly making a difference.

I have volunteered with Angel Covers for several years in its education program because of its low overhead (3%), its commitment to continue to be run exclusively by volunteers, and its traditional and creative ways of helping children who are most in need. Low overhead means that more dollars go directly to support the children in its programs and projects. The self-sustaining projects have helped schools to support themselves by providing initial investments in things such as goji berry trees (the berries are harvested and sold, and the income is used to purchase food and electricity for the school) and yaks (improving nutrition at remote rural schools). The education programs facilitate the education of the most destitute children who would otherwise have no hope of going to school. I look forward to continuing my involvement with Angel Covers, as I believe in its mission and its ability to implement the best programs for children in need.

I can honestly report a consistent effort by this organization to make the absolute most of precious sponsor dollars. The hard work, respect, concern and steady vision focus keeps this group on task and grounded in the reality of the children they serve. I am blessed to get the chance to volunteer and offer what time I have to support those endeavors!

Angel Covers are always motivated to help and support the world orphans, especially Chinese orphans. I was very proud to connect between China orphanages and Angel Covers . Angel Covers did so many jobs for the orphans, such as perfect baby bouncers, very soft and comfortable baby blankets, useful baby daily stuff and other useful equipments to improve orphanages' conditions. Angel Covers always makes their donation actions rapidly . I should always say, Angel Covers, Angel Covers' idea, Kari and Lynn, I do appreciate you did/do/doing everything for the orphans. You are so awesome!!!

Angel Covers is an amazing non-profit. It has always operated on a staff comprised 100% of volunteers, which allows for all money donated to go directly to the children being served. I know Kari, the executive director, and see how she tirelessly works to make sure the programs are running smoothly. She started small, making fleece blankets to send to babies in orphanages in China. Now, Angel Covers helps children in need in several continents, in a variety of programs. My family has sponsored a student in the Humble Hearts program in Kenya since the beginning. When we first started sponsoring her, she was recently orphaned, homeless, and had been taken in by the school for deaf children that had just started. Since that time, I have seen how she has grown, done well in school, and is looking at higher education. We have enjoyed hearing from her, receiving photos. As she moves on, we will sponsor a new student in the program.
Angel Covers does not barrage people constantly for money. On occasion, when a crisis occurs somewhere where a program is located, the word goes out that extra help is needed. People from all over the world come together to help.
I have also volunteered for Angel Covers for several years. I have had several different roles, and currently send out thank you notes to sponsors and those who make purchases online. Angel Covers truly values those who contribute and we really try to make sure thanks are given for each and every donation. I write to donors in many countries; the success of Angel Covers is a global effort.

I have received communication from the student I sponsor, letters and photos. I receive information on how she is doing in school, and how her health is. I am kept updated on what is happening at the school through newsletter email, yahoo groups and facebook.

Angel Covers is an excellent non-profit who help kids all around the world. As a youth volunteer, I was lucky enough to take a trip down to Kenya where they have several programs and I can only say one thing...what they are doing is great.

Angel Covers does an amazing job in raising funds for a number of orphanages and other non-profits overseas. All staff are volunteer, so they operate with almost no overhead. In fact, if you donate via credit card, the fees they must pay are covered by sale of merchandise on their website, so 100% of your donation goes to the kids in need. Same with other unavoidable expenses like stamps.

expand its size so more schools like Humble Hearts could benefit from not only funding but from the very constructive relationship in other ways between the school and Angel Covers.

It is definitely my favorite charity!!! I have always been amazed by the generosity and effectiveness of Angel Covers and the impact they make in our world. I personally have been involved in several projects they offer in Ukraine: getting educational supplies, shoes and cloth into Ukrainian orphanages. The experience was just so heart-touching! I am also amazed at their dedication, the organization is 100% volunteer (do you imagine it these days??)! I personally feel so grateful to Kari Fillmore for starting and running this incredible organization!!!

There is a view that charities can only be efficient by paying big wages and attracting the "best". Let me tell you that is one big myth. After working with many large charitable organizations, I found so much wastage and poor decisions.
I stumbled upon Angel Covers by chance...and what an amazing organization they turned out to be. All volunteers....efficient, effective, sensible, caring, dedicated...I could go on..and on. I do not have sufficient words to praise them enough for every thing they do!
I am so impressed by this team of wonderful people and the efficient way that they ensure that every cent is wisely used to improve the lives of children living in the most basic and difficult conditions.
In addition to all the wonderful things about this charity, they always have time to treat everyone, whether a donor or inquirer, in a friendly and personal way which gives you a feeling of being part of this incredible team. Angel covers IS THE BEST.

Having been to Kenya, I have visited one of the Angel Covers projects and was totally blown away by what they had managed to achieve. Kari and her team certainly make me feel very humble indeed. These are people who have really made a difference in the world.

NO !!!! I am sure there are many wonderful charities out there but this is simply the very best one I have come across. I think other organizations should take a look at Angel Covers because they are an excellent role model in the world of charity.
