Mission: As a licensed, non-profit, international adoption agency since 1986, the mission of Americans For African Adoptions, Inc. (AFAA) is to provide care, education & medical services for orphans while in Africa and to facilitate the adoption of African orphan children by adoptive families across the free world. AFAA assists African children suffering from famine, war, abandonment and disease. AFAA guides adopting families in processing all required paperwork by all involved governments and assists families once an African child joins their family. AFAA was the first, licensed, non-profit adoption agency devoted solely to African orphans.
Programs: To help - please assist Americans For African Adoptions, Inc. with funds for housing expenses in Africa, the purchase of a refrigerator and stove in Liberia, monthly or school sponsorship for Ethiopia, Liberian, Nigerian & Ugandan children. Please enlist the aid of your business, church, women's, scout, youth group, etc., to help an "African Angel". Sponsorship goes to an African representative our agency knows & trusts - they purchase food, clothing and pay school expenses for the sponsored child - 100% of a donation is given to help the child. Sponsorship is needed.
