A good friend of mine who had a stroke in the US was not responding to therapy and wasting away here in the states. He moved to Israel to be near one of his chidren and was urged to go to Melabev for some stimulation. He is now a totally different person. He has come out of his shell and is functioning to his total capacity. He looks forward to going to Melabev in Bet Shemesh each day and is now, in his own way, helping others at the facility.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

As I mentioned in my opening statement I saw first hand the rejuviation of this stroke victim after he started attending sessions at Melabev in Bet Shemesh.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The warmth and serious nature of all of the volunteers that go there on a regular basis.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

A-one - top notch - serious with what they were doing. They were totally dedicated to there woek.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Upgrade their facilities and be so much more effective in there mission.

Ways to make it better...

The facility in Bet Shemesh leaves a lot to be desired and needs to be updated. The staff is making the most of the facility that it now occupies but they would be able to do so much more if they had a modern up to date facility.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months
