I came in contact with AAQI in November 2009 when I purchased two quilts to benefit Alzheimer's research. In November 2010 AAQI's booth in Houston was one of my first stops. I purchased a total of 5 miniature quits. It's amazing what just a simple idea can acheive to help aid Alzheimer's Reseach. I applaud Ami Simms iand AAQI n this worth while charity to benefit Alzheimer's Reseach. My mother suffers from Dementia. This is such a terrible disease.

I believe this charity is doing a great service for our country's alzheimer's victums. The money generated by the small quilts is going for a good cause. The people who make the quilts and donate them are doing so out of the goodness of their hearts. I did purchase a quilt on the site and it hangs in my living room as a reminder of the good that this is doing.

AAQI started as a grass roots efforts to raise money for Alzheimer's research. I love that every cent is accounted for. There are no big CEO's on the payroll and the money raised goes directly to research.

I became aware of AAQI after my mom was diagnosed with this awful disease. I've
made several little quilts for donations and am always pleasantly surprised when my humble addition adds money to the efforts.
This is a great non profit!!
