I have conducted a number of educational music programs at the AAM and attended various events there. I am always impressed by the proffesionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of the entire staff.....at every level. I have also served on their AIE panel and can attest to the high level of artistic integrety that they practice. I always look forward to my interactions @ the Museum, whether they be for business or pleasure. A great team!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing how much children of all ages responded positively to a number of programs. Saw the results of their AIE school programs. Observed how much patrons enjoyed visiting the Museum.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give them better funding from the City of Allentown and the surrounding area.

We just attended the Spring Festival this past weekend and it was wonderful! So many activities for all ages to participate in and a great overall theme with perferomances that captured that spirit!

All the volunteers, performers, and staff that we encountered that day were so helpful and kind and knowledgeable not only about the museum and its works but, also about green living and recylcing, sustainability and the construction of art.

Allentown, PA may not be a place you'd consider to have a great arts scene, however, the small museum at the heart of the city, is top notch. The professional staff, the dedicated volunteers and the effective outreach work together to create an oasis for art in eastern Pennsylvania. Our family loves the lively and engaging rotating exhibits and free weekend activities for children, sponsored by Crayola. A visit to the museum always leaves me feeling elevated in spirit.

The "perfect" Italian Rennaissance collection is magnificent. It is also fun to bring kids upstairs to the play area - always something new and exciting. I really enjoy how welcoming the staff is. Even the guards know about the collections and like to see every visitor have a great experience.
