Our Daughter Alexa (Diagnosed with Brain Cancer and NF-1 in 2004) was running out of treatment options until we went to NEW YORK from Oregon in 2011
for a special Brain Tumor trial. We stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Expensive ManHattan.
Alex's Lemonade stands travel fund paid for a
large portion of our stay at the RMDH. Without their help we would not have been able to stay and concentrate on saving our Daughters life. God Bless Them!
Sincerely, Monica delos Reyes & Lexy

My nephew lost his battle with pediatric cancer, so when I was looking for an organization to support, I used this site to find one that aligned with my fundraising goals. ALSF far exceeded my expectations. I was a member of Team Lemon, and I can't tell you how positive of an experience it was. I had consistent support from the staff and coaches - but nothing ever seemed over the top or frivolous. This organization funds research grants to eliminate cancer, and supports children and families that are going through the battle of their lives. I am proud of have worked with them!

www.alexslemonade.org is a wonderful organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. Alex's Scott at the age of 4 held a front yard lemonade stand and gave the money to her hospital. Sadly, she lost her battle with Neuroblastoma in 2004. Her family has continued to fulfill her dream so that other children will have better treatments with better outcomes in the future. Our family has held many Alex's Lemonade stands in honor of my son Sean, a Neuroblastoma survivor. We encourage our friends to do the same. It's easy, it's fun, and it is for a great cause!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Improved treatments and research breakthroughs directly funded by Alex's Lemonade Foundation.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Improved HOPE for childhood cancer victims and their families.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated, Caring, Loving, Generous, Intelligent, Inspriational!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

decrease pain and suffering in children and save lives!

Ways to make it better...

more folks knew about Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, please tell your friends.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Time. Kids with Cancer do not have time on their side. Research and therefore funding is needed now. These kids can't wait!

One thing I'd also say is that...

Many childhood cancers, especially those that are rare like Neuroblastoma are underfunded. Treatments remain extremely harsh and too often the outcome poor. More tolerable treatments and improved results are needed now!!

My experience with ALSF has been awesome. I have been working to raise awareness and donations this summer and have learned a ton of new things myself. It is such a great cause and I hope to make others feel the same as I do.
