Reviews for Al Maun Fund
I worked with Al-Maun Fund to create some ideas for a Unique Selling Proposition and tagline for an upcoming online marketing campaign. I became aware of the charity through my sister, and was impressed with their simple goal: to make that little bit of extra cash you give count for others in major ways.
We connected through Twitter, and then on the phone. The founders of this charity are real, down-to-earth and friendly, and not penny-pinching or bureaucratic about benefiting others. We talked about their aid process, their goals, and their values. I learned about the "dignity, respect, and personal advice" they offer people seeking aid, the "3-to-5-day" processing time from receipt of information to aid received, and their national reach made local through connections via the internet.
The passion of Al-Maun Fund is not to throw money at people, but to give them solace in momentary struggles. I appreciate their efforts and wish them success.
