They do an unbelievable job at making programs available for youth, through assisting in funding each students' experience with the types of programs they provide.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the way that students are being active on their own campuses.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Run an education program that traveled to various college campuses, doing dialogue work.

More feedback...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the support and encouragement.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Absolutely incredible. The staff is extremely supportive with everything that the students do during and after the program.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Give every Jew and Palestinian the opportunity to do what I did.

Ways to make it better...

during the Balkans trip we would have done more comparative research.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funding?

AV is a great organization that is committed to bringing together Jews and Palestinians to meet each other, to learn about each other's narratives, and to understand the role we can have in encouraging peace in Israel/Palestine. We learned in the Balkans about the conflicts that occurred there in the 1990's and about the rifts that exist in their society that in many ways mirror those that exist in Israel/Palestine. Abraham's Vision hires competent facilitators and does everything it can to promote learning and exploring of each participant's beliefs. The Vision Program that I was part of is excellent because it doesn't solely consist of a 4-week summer program-- it is a year-long fellowship with two retreats during the year that allows fellows to continue to reach out to each other. My views have changed about Israel, Palestinians, and about what change is possible when you have an open mind.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my behavior and that of my fellow participants who have gone on to tell our friends and home communities about our new experiences and to question the dominant discourse and think about issues of justice.

More feedback...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

experienced, thoughtful, kind, talented, and worked hard to meet the needs of participants.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the dynamic around the world in how Jews and Palestinians view each other
