Helped serve Thansgiving lunch to people in need. Had a great time meeting other volunteers and making a small difference to those who would normally not be able to enjoy a holiday meal.

It was wonderful experience I enjoyed it very much. The staff was organized and friendly, the other volunteers were all willing to help with a smile on their face and a great attitude, and the people who benefited from this seemed grateful and happy. I'm glad I took time out of my day to help it was worth every minute of it.

I've always wanted to volunteer at a food shelter and LifeCrowd made it happen, Thanks. I arrived and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff that gave us a background on the facility along with a tour. Then we helped by prepping food, setting up the banquet area, cleaning dishes and finally serving food to the hundreds of people lined up waiting for a warm holiday meal. I look forward to volunteering again and inviting everyone that wants a heartfelt experience.

Hi my name is Mayra Carrillo Martinez and I am a volunteer at A Place Called Home Today was a busy day and I helped by cutting different pies; from pumpkin pie, apple pie and peacan pie. The job was a bit of a handful because we needed to cut the pies for everyone but I enjoyed helping out. It feels good to be a part of a place where they do something special for others on a special event as Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a special day to give thanks and I am here to volunteer to thank A Place Called Home for giving me the opportunity to be here and be a part of a place where they help the youth in order to succeed in the future. I think it's a great thing to have such places where they care for the youth.

I volunteered with APCH as they helped organize the Cinderella Project. The center brought me up close and personal with the young girls of south central as I helped them pick out their perfect prom dress. My experience was absolutely amazing. Hearing and seeing how happy the girls were made everything worth it. The program ran smoothly and was well organized. The girls left feeling beautiful. The fact that APCH can give hundreds of girls a taste of what more fortunate kids get, speaks wonders of what they can do for the community to help change the world through touching the youth. I will gladly volunteer again and again.

I heard about "A place called home" from a friend of mine who volunteered the year before during prom season. I was impressed by the mission of the charity and was eager to contribute my time. When i arrived the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The space was organized and there was variety to meet and match every taste. Shoes in all colores, styles and sizes, dresses of every size, cut and length, jewlery, perfume, pantyhose, the whole nine. I enjoyed contritbuting to the cause and look forward to coming back again next year!!!!
