Since the death of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots in Yarnell, Az, the 100 Club has been and integral part of the support system. As a family liaison to a young widow, I have experienced first hand how the 100 Club has not only financially contributed to the families need, but also to the healing of the their broken hearts. Sharon from the 100 Club is always here for a hug and a kind word. I would consider Sharon of the 100 Club a new friend. As an organization, the 1oo Club is exceptional. Much gratitude to the board of directors, Sharon and all working and involved in this outreach.

The 100 Club stepped in in many ways. Not only did they provide financial support, but also emotional as well. Sharon, thank you for serving us and all the families -- and for your continual support. It has meant the world to us.

Our 21 year old son Kevin was one of the 19 Hot Shot firefighters killed in the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013. The Arizona 100 club has been a godsend to our family. The have provided for us in so many ways. Sharon and her staff are unbelievably compassionate and they have been a bright side to our darkest days. Our lives have been made less stressful by the 100 club, we are truly humbled.

My son Dustin was one of the 19 Granite Mountain Hot Shots that was killed in the line of duty on June 30th 2013. Our sorrow is great, but our hope is greater. Dustin had a genuine faith in Jesus Christ, and he wasn't afraid to talk about it. That knowledge alone has given us the greatest comfort possible. However, along side that comfort we have been blessed by the 100 Club of Arizona. They stepped in immediately alleviate the financial worries and logistics that would have otherwise overwhelmed our troubled hearts. We have nothing but praise for their expressions of love and compassion. They were way ahead of us reaching out to us in our need.

My husband passed away from stage 4 brain cancer. The 100 Club helped us a lot during my husbands illness by providing us with a plane ticket for my mom who was in another country at the moment. They also helped me a lot after my husband died and they still do. I'm so thankful for everything they had done for us. When my husband got diagnosed with cancer I was 4 months pregnant but my husbands coworkers from Peoria PD and the 100 Club were there for us to help us when we needed the most. Thanks for the beautiful work you do, it's definitely not easy. God bless you all

My husband was killed on June 30th 2013 in the Yarnell Hill Fire. I was 8 months pregnant with our first child, 24 years old and now a Widow. I could of not gotten thru this without the love and support of Sharon and the 100 club. They have helped myself and my family out so much thru this tragedy and continue to do so. Thank you for everything

When my husband was killed in 2010 the 100 Club was there to help me and continues to be there for me. Having people that have been through similar situations gave me someone to talk to. They take the time to to just listen when you need them most. I am grateful to have them in my life. In addition to them helping me emotionally they gave me a way to help others by creating a scholarship in my husbands name. I can't describe how amazing this organization is and how much they have helped me.

When I was the Police Chief of Scottsdale we had the unfortunate experience of losing Sergeant Tom Hontz during a SWAT training exercise. Also, following the funeral one of our motor officers, Deanna Jensen, went down on her motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. Through the entire nightmare, the 100 Club was there for the the families and the department. Most visible was Sharon who was able to relate to the pain everyone was experiencing. She shared our tears, heartbreak, and was always ready with hugs. Since that experience, I have been a continual supporter of the 1 Club and will be through the rest of my life. Sharon and the 100 Club will always have a special place in my heart. Many, many thanks for all the good work performed by the 100 Club and their supporters!

The 100 Club is an amazing organization led by generous and selfless people. When my husband died in the line of duty, the 100 Club provided immediate financial assistance to help me gather the pieces of my shattered life together. Sudden and traumatic loss like that leaves you very uncertain of the future. Their assistance set my mind at ease while I figured out what my benefits were and how we were going to navigate our future. My daughter needed counseling about five years after the death of her dad. I shared with Sharon how expensive it was to get her the help that she needed. Sharon made sure that the 100 Club helped me with those expenses. It is so comforting knowing that there is an organization like this who won't let me fall. Life without my husband has so many challenges and uncertainties. This organization helps ease a lot of those uncertainties.

At the invite of a friend, I attended my first annual meeting of the 100 club yeas ago at Phoenix Country Club...
That night Bret Tarver was lost fighting a fire, and I saw and heard at the meeting that night that the 100 club was there for his family...
I was impressed by the compassion
of the group for a fallen public safety officer...
I was "hooked" to try to help...
The 100 Club is a great organization of caring people....
Having delivered benefit checks to public safety families over the years, I can say with all due honor and respect to the injured and fallen, we help and make a difference in peoples lives after an accident or tragedy...
God bless the public safety officers who keep us safe...

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

every citizen who cares about public safety should be a member.... I would like to see a lot more 100 Club member stickers on the windows of vehicles in our great state...
