Mission: Warm Heart’s mission is to ensure that all Phrao residents have equal access to basic services and an equal opportunity to build better lives. We provide equal access to education and health services, and the knowledge and skills to create sustainable livelihoods. Warm Heart is a non-religious, nonpartisan organization dedicated to the radical idea that every human being deserves the same chance to succeed, whether born into poverty or prosperity.
Results: We opened our doors in 2008. See our website for details www.warmheartworldwide.org.

Geographic areas served: Phrao District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand
Programs: Education, Microenterprise, Public Health. Warm Heart is a grassroots organization that helps villagers in the remote northern district of Phrao, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. We organize community projects that improve access to education and basic health services, create jobs and sustainable incomes for the poorest in our community, and restore the environment to sustain future generations. Warm Heart is not a charity. Our programs address acute needs by helping people help themselves.
Warm Heart is fulfilling many needs in an area of Northern Thailand that is often looked over. The powerful effects of determined hard working individuals with optimism and love carries projects through to
completion though odds might say there is not enough man power or funds to do so. Concentrating on equipping locals to help them help themselves is the goal through health care, education, and micro enterprise. I hope to see more people come alongside Warm Heart to equip them with support through funding and time and energy. There's a lot resting on a few people's shoulders, but that doesn't stop people from getting things done!
