EESI gives the most balanced, useful, complete and relevant information on topics concerning the environment and energy. I use their fact sheets and white papers all the time for my work within these fields. EESI is the Go To organization.
As an intern for this organization I can say that I am proud to work for EESI. The tireless effort this non-profit puts into its daily work is truly enviable. EESI really takes their mission to heart, combating the climate crisis with nonpartisan information on environmental and energy solutions.
Reading Climate Change News is the first thing on my Monday morning "to do" list. Since its inception, it's done much to inform my thinking on climate change and development of materials for a class I teach on Energy Technology and Policy. My primary interests relate to energy and environmental sustainability (se2.nd.edu).
They only do impactful work, making it a MUST-READ. Plus, they tell me what's coming out of Washington that's useful and important.
Always have the most recent information regarding what's going on with Environmental policy on Capital Hill.
Accurate and relevant information is the necessary basis for any effective policy making. Covering the very complex world of climate change, EESI involves the top experts, writes clearly and brings timely understanding to a major national challenge.
EESI stays on top of most new information coming out on climate change. It's an extremely useful oversight tool for keeping up with the latest findings.
EESI Newletters are quick to read, and include important bits of information that open my eyes and ears to lengthier articles about the events they highlight. Very accessible, very important to my inbox.
I have attended several of EESI's briefings. Each had highly qualified presenters active in the particular subject space. Sometimes I knew most of what was being presented and sometimes I learned a lot. Sometimes I wished other experts could have been included. For those not specialized in the subject area, I am sure they would always come out with valuable information.
I am a retired environmental specialist with a federal agency. I am helping a retired expert on social impacts of energy projects write a book on her career. We both worked with impacts of climate change. EESI has long been a reliable source of information, and Climate Change News is a convenient way to keep up to date.
The quality of content produced by EESI is unmatched. Their briefings on Capitol Hill are phenomenal, their factsheets and newsletters are incredibly informative, and the genuine passion of their staff is infectious. Carol Werner is known throughout the industry as one of the most knowledgeable, well-respected, and undeniably-empathetic leaders within the environmental and energy community and her initiative has yielded an organization with the prodigious ability to enact positive change for present and future generations alike. There are many problems in this field that the world will have to face for years to come, but its organizations like EESI that restore my faith in our ability to meet these challenges head-on.
