Reviews for Well Aware
I have volunteered with Well Aware on several occasions and each time has been a memorable and lasting experience. This is an organization who prides themselves in providing great volunteer experience. They are doing great work in East Africa that is backed with a sustainable model. I look forward to volunteering with them again and again!
Well Aware, it's donors and their projects are saving lives, empowering people and 100% of their wells are functional. They are a dedicated team of professionals that put the needs of others first, a non-profit to be trusted and supported.
This is a great nonprofit organization, worthy of your support! It's easy (and wonderful) to have the desire to help others in need- it's a lot more challenging to maintain a nonprofit organization that consistently chooses and manages successful projects in another country. Well Aware has done an incredible job of bringing water and hope to people who desperately need it in Kenya. They have a dedicated staff and are handling their donations and projects in an honest and dependable way. They have good intentions and put them into action with joy and purpose. This is a great organization to support.
Well Aware not only has wonderful intentions of bringing clean water access to rural parts of Kenya they make sure to do it with long-term, self-sustaining strategies for the communities they serve. If all non-profits were run this way the world would be a much better place.
Exceptional non-profit doing wonderful things in the horn of Africa! They are a straight up group with a strong administration that truly cats about making a difference in this world and improving lives one well at a time!
Fantastic company that has followed through on its mission of bringing clean water to Kenya. Fun events, doing a wonderful job raising money and awareness.
Well Aware engages donors with their life saving work in Kenya. I see my donations saving lives. The small staff is compassionate and incredibly hard working.
Well Aware sets the bar for ethical and sustainable water solutions in the developing world. Sarah and her incredibly dedicated team have worked tirelessly over the years to bring clean water to villages in Kenya and ensure local management. Drilling wells is just one aspect of their holistic approach, and I truly think they are a model that should be emulated in the nonprofit world.
Well Aware does great work - implementing water systems for those who have none. I have been a part of the Well Aware Organization for many years - almost since it began. I feel totally trusting and comfortable making donations because I know the work does REAL good - the money is spent SO efficiently - and the water systems WORK! Communities that are so lucky to get a water system experience real change - health improves - crops can be grown - kids go to school - communities grow and thrive. The founder, board, staff and volunteers are all intelligent, concientious and caring.
Cannot say enough good things about Well Aware!!
Work done by WellAware is innovative and necessary. Having volunteered in Kenya during the summer of 2009, I know firsthand the vital need of clean water, especially in those areas where medical care is also largely unavailable. Keep up the good work, guys. What you are doing will provide the groundwork for other nonprofits and humanitarian aid organizations to flourish in Kenya.
