Reviews for Vision Is Priceless Council, Inc.
Vision is Priceless screens over 30,000 pre-school children each year in the Jacksonville area for eye disease. Eye disease in children is best treated when identified early in life, and VIP is the only regional organization dedicated to this task. VIP also screens thousands of adults each year for eye disease, and partners with a dedicated team of volunteer physicians and hospitals to provided sight restoring surgery and sight saving treatments at reduced or no cost to patients who are otherwise not able to afford needed care. VIP was recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida with a Sapphire award in 2012, given to Florida's most effective and well run charities. Here's a youtube video describing the program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=r_JKWV3uGqo#!
