Reviews for Station Foundation

I was given information regarding The Station Foundation by a former US Navy SEAL whom donated his time working with the TSF Gold Star Children outreach program. This program pairs surviving children who lost a parent with a SpecOp mentor who may have known their parent. Offering them the opportunity to gain insight on their parent whom they are living a lifetime without and to learn vital leadership skills for their own future. The purity of this program touched my heart. I wanted to support this program any way I could, being a single parent myself of tragic circumstances I know how important mentoring and guidance are to a vulnerable young spirit. It is a life changing detour. We only afford so many developmental years and whom we surround ourselves with is life critical, it's all in the selection process. Military organizations go through a vetted selection process for their special operation commands. These veterans are part of our national heritage and are irreplaceable. When we lose a warrior we lose a future, there is a family, a community and a nation that loses a lifetime of creative assets and capability that positively affects our society. The Station Foundation creed and ethos step outside of the military community while embracing it at the same time, they represent the spirit of nation building in our own hearts and minds. We as a People are required to serve others in this country, out of the gift of being born an American or a new immigrant, we are here for the Hope and pursuit of freedom and happiness. This requires effort and sacrifice. We are nation of many, and connected we stand united. When we divide and enter into the realm of selfishness we lose and become ill. We are obligated to help those in need, it is what makes our people the greatest unified force on Earth, we are caregivers, not just takers. Supporting this Veteran organization is the life beat of our country and our future. Veterans understand the fight. They live the Wars they engaged on our behalf their entire life, it is embedded in the fabric of their future, hopes, dreams and discounts of service. I challenge all who read this to support this Foundation and contribute. You do not have to serve in the military to support a family or a child in need, you merely need to contribute, and there are many ways you can conduct yourself. You will feel better. -Shawn Alladio
