Reviews for Pregnancy Help Center Of Concho Valley, Inc.

Rating: 5 stars

In a time where pro-life and pro-choice affiliates are treating each other as mortal enemies, this organization shines through with love and compassion.

PHC is a local alternative to Planned Parenthood. Much like the government sponsored organization, PHC focuses on women's health issues and primarily deals with unplanned pregnancies. There is no judgment or shunning of the person experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Instead, there's a friend waiting with a hug. Friendly counseling and professional staff members exude the love of Christ in all they do.
For the women who choose to carry their child but can't provide for him/her, the PHC offers clothing and light furniture as is available. For the women who choose to carry but not keep their child, they offer contact with adoption agencies and act as a medium in a potentially scary process.
These women not only love Christ, they truly love the babies and the women who carry them.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

In doing the work I have done around the center, I've seen clients come in and watched their fear soothe and dissipate. Apprehension is often a factor, but when received with love, it's easy to be soothed. The clients are often scared, so a nurturing and friendly hand is always offered.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

buy them a great big sign for the front of the building. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. It's amazing how a little thing like love or compassion can give your business everything it needs. This organization is not lacking.

It is truly a trustworthy and professional nonprofit organization. I would recommend it to my family and friends as well as strangers. I will continue to support this organization. Being Pro-Life is my main focus; therefore, saving babies and helping crisis pregnancies is a frequent topic for me. I met a wonderful lady, Sandra Franke through DAR. She told me of her work over 20 years in that field in my town. She encouraged me to attend a banquet and hear about PHCCV. After that, my husband and I had to get involved and contribute and do what we could. The Center is free to everyone and loves people through their crisis with excellent professional care and compassion and helps meet their physical needs. The Center helps mother, baby, father and family members. No one is turned away and all are given Christ's love. It is needed and very important to San Angelo and the surrounding area. I now have the privilege to serve on the Board of Directors. Every life is important and precious to PHCCV.
