Peggy Adams is a great place to adopt an animal from we got our dog from there he is great addition to out family. Thank you again Peggy Adams. I would recommend you experience it for yourself.
We adopted our newest addition, Pearl (3 month kitten) about three months ago from Peggy Adams. It was by far the best experience we have ever had! We were greeted instantly at the main door by a volunteer. We explained to her that we were looking for a kitten with a lot of energy who could keep up with our dog. She led us over to the kitten area and let me go into the play pen. Boy, was that fun! There were about 10 kittens total and they were all so adorable. Any nerves that I had about adopting suddenly were wiped away. They helped me pick our the perfect new addition to our family. Pearl still hadn't been spayed at time of adoption so we had to wait about 1 1/2 days until we were able to pick her up. When we did pick her up, the staff was so helpful and excited for us! She did arrive to our home with a cold, so we took her back to Peggy Adams and the vet gave her a free bottle of medicine. The cold cleared right up. In addition, she also had a bit of ring worm, but with a few visits to her own vet, the rash cleared right up in about a month. We are so thankful for Peggy Adams. They loved our kitten before we even met her, and they took care of her until we had the chance to take her home. Thank you, Peggy Adams!!
They are the best place to find your new family member. They have helped me in the process of my salley finding her way into God's gates to heaven and they have helped us find two new family members that have fit into our home with our three dogs. The two new kittens have bonded with our three little ones and they think of themselves as two little dogs.PeggyAdams knows animals very well, they knew exactly which kittens would bond with our three little dogs. I would only use them again to find the right little one for our home. Kite Allih@yahoo.com
I got my dog from Peggy Adams 10 months ago. In the very beginning we were a little hesitant because he was abused so badly. With a lot of love he has turned in the best dog ever. Everyone loves him & can't believe the difference in his behavior since we got him. He is the best thing to happen to me.
About a month ago, I adopted a 3 year old female Tabby cat, Eudora, from Peggy Adams. From the moment I walked in the door, I was blown away by how professional the staff and facilities were. You could tell from talking to the people who work there that it is their true passion in life. The facilities were very clean and my cat is just beautiful, vibrant, and healthy. During a lengthy consultation to make sure that Eudora would be a good fit for me, I could tell the staff really cared for these animals, Great experience overall, thanks!
The very day after our beloved Precious had to be put down for non treatable cancer, I went to Peggy Adams because our other cat, Priscilla was beside herself with grief (as were my husband and I) I carefully "shopped" all the kitties and found them to be wonderfully cared for and the staff was helpful but not intrusive. I finally met our new furry family member, Athena/aka Tina and after spending much time together, decided she would fit in well with our family. She is a DREAM CAT, and Priscilla no longer guards the door awaiting Prescious return. She is way too busy keeping Athena on her toes! Priscilla is almost 20 yo, and Athena is 3. You really "had to be there!" LOL!
I recently adopted a little kitty from Peggy Adams. This is the second pet I adopt from them. This organization is amazing! The place is clean and spacious. They have volunteers coming to pet the cats and play with them. You can tell that they really love and care for the animals. Both times I adopted I got a cat who was neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. They offer all veterinary services for low prices and even the adoption itself was "name your own price". I hope they will always have enough funding to keep doing the important work they are doing for abandoned animals.
I got my little girl Pansy right after my husband passed. It took her less than a week to become close with me. She sleeps in the bed with me and reminds me when to lift her up on the bed for her bedtime. She is so small she needs help up. She has never had an accident in the time I have had her in the house and only barks if she feels danger. What a little blessing for this senior citizen and yes Pansy is 6 years old we are a perfect fit. Thank you Peggy Adams

I found my girl Madison, or known around our home Maddie. She is a great dog, and with the help of Peggy Adams I was able to welcome our new family member into our home. She acclimated to our home pretty quickly, and we are incredibly happy to have her. Peggy Adams is a great organization, and I want to thank them for saving my big girl.

The folks at Peggy Adams are a unique and wonderful bunch. They took the time to listen to what we were looking for in a dog and even though we had a few adoptees picked out from our visits online, they were able to make a few other suggestions, and one in particular we feel in love with. He has been an ideal fit for our family with his temperament and nature. I'm sure this is due in large part to Michele's (our adoption coordinator) ability to listen and match up prospective owners and pets. We are extremely pleased with the treatment we received at Peggy Adams and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to adopt a pet.
