The mission of the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is to provide unwavering support to those afflicted or affected by pancreatic cancer through our four core programs, direct financial assistance, early detection research, patient advocacy and educational awareness.
NPCF has assisted over 80 families across the United States with basic living costs while they were in treatment for pancreatic cancer. NPCF has funded early detection research for the last four years by funding the University of Colorado Foundation pancreatic cancer research department. NPCF and volunteers have held fundraisers all over the country to create more funding and awareness for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

Reviews for National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation
I have participated in a few fund raising events for the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. These events are always so much fun, so well organized and the volunteers and staff are always very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. This Foundation is trustworthy and caring, the staff and volunteers are active in the community and dedicated to the treatment and support of Pancreatic cancer patients, their families and their friends.
The 5K I attended for National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation was a great event! The walk itself was a good coarse and the view was tremendous! I learned about how the foundation helps people with everyday expenses and that warms my heart. Enjoyed my experience and will do it next year!!!
This organization has helped so many families across the country to reduce the stress of their treatment of pancreatic cancer by providing them with financial assistance that helps them keep a roof over their head and food on their table. The staff is kind and attentive when dealing with each and every person who inquires about the foundation and go above and beyond in every aspect! Thank you NPCF for what you do!

I think the people in this foundation who have a heart for this cause are interested in doing good. However, though they say in general what they are doing with your money they are not forthcoming with what percent they are spending toward patient needs vs expenses vs research which makes we wonder whether I or my friends should donate any additional funds.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Replace the director who seriously overreacted to feedback about an event she organized and intentionally caused strife for a stage 4 pancreatic cancer patient who attended.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Unfortunately this person who wrote this review is not a donor of NPCF, and only attended one event. She informed NPCF of what she considered a poor experience at annual event, and we refunded her tickets for 16 people. None of the other people included in her group felt the same way she did. Our financials are available online and anyone can look up what percentage goes where in our organization. We have assisted over 80 families keep their roof over their head, electricity on, and food on their tables while going through this devastating disease. We realize not everyone is going to agree with our mission or our goals and encourage everyone to donate to the organization that fits best with your vision.
