I am an Ophthalmologist who has worked with MMI since 1999. I've been on 10 mission trips and have seen first hand how this ministry changes lives. I plan to go again taking my daughter with me next year.
God Bless this Organization.

MMI is an amazing non profit organization serving the poor all over the world and in the USA as well. Having served as a volunteer for eleven two week medical ministry trips in six countries and now as a board member I highly recommend this organization. Truly a Christian based organization with a mission to serve the poor.

I have been on the board of MMI for about six months now. I am looking forward to the years to come! The MMI International team is one of the finest I have ever come across. I am honored to be along for the journey!

Have you ever gone on a short term mission trip and wondered if any of the good work you did while you were there would be meaningful and long lasting to the people you served after you left? Medical Ministry International is so unique in that respect. They have about 15 permanent health centers all over the world that continue running day in and day out 365 days out of the year. They are designed to model the Body of Christ. EVERYONE is needed, medical and non-medical to do their specific part to nurture and sustain the entire body.
I have been a fan and a volunteer for MMI for many years now. It continues to be my all time favorite nonprofit ministry for serving the poor and suffering of the world.

My family started donating to MMI about a year ago. The first thing that drew us to MMI was that the sole purpose is to serve the poor. Because of the efficiency of their staff, they are able to put a large percentage of their donations towards the actual hands on ministry portion. I have had the privilege of meeting some of the wonderful people who work in the Allen, Texas office. Everyone was totally committed to the cause of MMI and there was a contagious joy that permeated the place. I hope to someday join a team to minister in one of the many clinics around the world.

The people, you work with on the trips and here in the states are amazing! They think of everything before you leave on a trip. They are very good at answering all the questions you might have. I highly recommend MMI! What can be better than Serving the Lord and showing others??

I was blessed to be a part of an MMI mission in Bolivia this July. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! The MMI teams, both in the states and in Bolivia, are phenomenal!! Their commitment to serving the less fortunate by providing quality healthcare, and sharing God's love is evident in all they do. MMI thought of everything from pre-trip logistics, flight reservations, on the ground travel, team preparation for the project, great meals, comfortable lodging, safety, translators, aiding in on-site interactions with Bolivians, to much, much more! I highly recommend that you consider partnering with MMI by using your skills to serve or by donating monetarily to their work, but most importantly by your prayers of support...it will be a very worthwhile investment!

I have done mission trips with MMI annually since 2001. They do an amazing job organizing the projects. The work is meaningful and their staff bends over backwards to insure a great experience.

MMi is one of the best non profits in the nation. The direct impact this company has on the world is significant. Nothing comes close to the commitment and direction obtained everyday. Just wow!

I was in Dominican Republic in January 2015 with Medical Ministry International. This was my 22nd year volunteering with MMI. I have seen improvements in the health of the patients who comes to us because of MMI 's commitment to not just treat the patient's illnesses but also to teach them how to take care of themselves. I appreciate the fact that we work alongside Dominican physicians and health promoters as equals. Most of all I appreciate the fact MMI strives to provide healthcare using Jesus as it's guide.

My first MMI project was in 1993 and I have volunteered on medical teams yearly ever since. I received more than I give to the patients I see. Volunteering on a project reminds me why I became a physician. MMI strives to make sure the volunteers are well taken care of. I have never felt unsafe when I am volunteering on a project.
