Reviews for Kids In Danger

Rating: 5 stars

Kids In Danger's mission is to inform consumers about dangerous products and practices that can injure or even kill a child. their outreach is small but mighty. i am proud to be a donor as they keep the public informed about recalled products, safe practices for sleep, play and travel, and are a voice in Washington for safe products.

Nancy Cowles and KID do great work helping to ensure that products are made to be as safe as possible. Nancy has worked extremely hard in the development of safer standards through ASTM.

As a member of the Board of Directors, this organization is small but mighty. The passion of everyone at Kids In Danger (KID) is awe inspiring. The mission is to protect our children and educate families, communities and providers. Everyone who hears the KID story is forever touched and gives of themselves in any way possible. The staff is dedicated, hard working and gives 100% everyday. I am proud everyday to be a part of an amazing organization.

My oldest daughter was in the same daycare and had, at one time, slept in the same portable crib that was responsible for Danny's death. She is alive today and is a beautiful 17 year old with amazing dreams, we are the lucky ones. I was asked to join the board shortly after KID was founded. Being a member of this organization is truly an honor. The passion that surrounds this group is contagious and everyone who hears about the organization, attends an event or meets its founders are truly amazed and moved by it's mission. KID will always be a part of our family and we will continue to support the organization and its cause for many years.

I had the chance to intern with KID this summer and so far, I can say I've learned so much about the nonprofit world and what it takes to sustain an organization. Even though the organization's staff size is small, they are doing incredibly big things and doing many important things to keep children safe. Everyone involved with this organization is involved because they deeply care about the cause! I believe Kids In Danger can change the way the general consumer public looks at children's product safety and I wish them only the best in the future.

I started working with KID (Kids In Danger) this past April (2015). I absolutely love it! The ladies (Nancy, Laura & Karen) are so awesome. They are not only well versed in their respective areas of the organization, but they genuinely enjoy what they do and believe in the message KID embodies. I really love the energy of the office and how everyone is there to help, encourage and guide. I truly appreciate all of the kindness and appreciation the ladies have shown me. They make me feel that I am just as much as a vital team member (not just a volunteer) as anyone else, which further fuels my desire to be more involved. Because of KID, the work they do and the ladies, I have decided to get into nonprofit as a career!

Thanks for all that you do!!

I started working with Kids in danger recently and I respect the work they are doing for improving children's product safety and educating the people about the products. Laura Nikolovska and Laura Ford are amazing people to work with and they are really flexible. I am happy to support them.

During my volunteer job at KID, I can see that KID is a very well-managed organization. They are working hard for children's product safety, no matter through educating parents via several ways or fundraising. Also, the staffs are so nice to work with that I really enjoy working at KID. I am glad to support such a wonderful organization.

Laura and Nick were terrific! They provided a very informative, dynamic presentation and went way above and beyond in supplying educational literature and safety tools for our families. Always a pleasure!

Linda Ginzel and Boaz Keyser are two of the strongest people I have ever met. With true compassion, they have taken their personal tragedy and created an agency to prevent another family from enduring their pain. Kids in Danger works to improve the safety of children's products and educate people about product recalls. The small staff works tirelessly to spread life saving information. KID truly cares about the greater good. I'm proud to work with them.
