The mission of the Jewish Community Centers Association is to serve a wide range of people in various programs, including: health, fitness, child care, adult, senior adult, sports, and Jewish cultural program and activities.
The Adult Programs and Services Department serves ages 50+ from the active to the frail, in the greater St. Louis Area. They offer a wide range of programming and services to engage participants to remain active and involved. They also provide an adult day care program. Day camping and an overnight camp in teh Lake of the Ozarks. Cultural Arts: programs serving all ages, with opportunities that cover the full spectrum of arts and culture including the nationally respected St. Louis Jewish Book Festival, the St. Louis Jewish Film Festival, the New Jewish Theatre, an annual Used Book Sale, the Milton Frank Camp of the Arts and Theatre Unlimited. The Early Childhood services department has the responsibility to help each child develop to his/her fullest potential - emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. This development is undertaken with full appreciation and respect for the child's uniqueness. Accordingly, and within the guidelines set by the JCC philosophy, special emphasis will be placed on the development of Jewish values, basic concepts and holiday traditions. Individual values, however diverse will be positively enhanced as a result of the consideration given this diversity. Full Fitness Center and The JCC Helene Mirowitz Department of Jewish Community Life involves families and individuals in programs to create opportunities for friendships, connections to the St. Louis Jewish community and to facilitate involvement in Jewish life. Opportunities: Career and Volunteer opportunities The Sports, Recreation & Aquatics Department provides a wide range of activities and programs for the entire family. The Carlyn H. Wohl Building on the Millstone Campus includes baseball/softball fields, outdoor track,tennis courts, par fitness course, outdoor pool including 50 meter lap swimming, shuffle board courts, sand volleyball courts, racquetball and handball courts, squash courts, 2 indoor pools, full length double gymnasium, indoor track, men's and women's locker rooms, and a youth wellness center. The Marilyn Fox Building on the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Campus features an outdoor recreation pool, indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, men's and women's locker rooms, full length double gymnasium, 3 indoor batting cages, indoor track, and 1 baseball/softball field. Through these facilities we offer a variety of programs including; adult and youth basketball, youth soccer and flag football, adult and youth volleyball, martial arts, youth baseball, adult softball, youth and adult swim lessons, aquatic exercise programs and individualized sports training through our JCC Sports Academy. The Youth services department offers programming for children kindergarten through High School, as well as large scale family events.
