I have known Jerry and Elaine Ramsey now going on a dozen years and praise them for their efforts in getting foundation underway and keeping it moving forward. If the HBC, Pacfici Northwest fur trade history, Fort Nisqually, or Pierce County's history is your passion, check this out - for its doing great things at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum at Point Defiance Park. Steve Anderson

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The programming and restortion activities at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum in Point Defiance Park, Tacoma.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do nothing.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The comradery I experience in working with the Ramseys.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

always helpful and shared my passion for the history of the site.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

fund a great many things relative to Pierce County's fur trade history - not only at the museum site, but across the county, an perhaps across the region.

Ways to make it better...

I lived in Tacoma. I'm currently in Missouri.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

future funding sources, and getting the word out that the foundation's assets could always be larger - and help the fort in more ways.

One thing I'd also say is that...

this organization helps to enrich the lives of the fort's 100+ volunteers and the over 100,000 people who visit it each year. It is the growing and will take time to be big enough to make more impact, but it has been started, thanks to the Ramseys.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
