After many years of excellent credit, some medically related issues rendered me insolvent. In preparation for filing bankruptcy, I was required to complete a "course" in credit counseling. This site was very easy to follow and very user friendly. At the end, one must complete an interactive interview.

Needless to say, this is a very stressful time. When I called, I was fortunate to speak with a lovely representative by the name of Yadira Diaz. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. What a wonderful "face" for your company! Please give her my thanks for making a difficult situation easier.

Debbie Edmond was my counselor. She was polite and knowledgeable. She answered the few questions I had satisfactorily. Thank you.

Our counselor, Debbie, did a very thorough presentation and covered every critical element of a HECM for us, making sure that we fully understood key components and considerations. We were given every opportunity to ask questions and felt comfortable doing so. It was a painless and relaxed process.

My counselor was Alex. Recently having become a widower, I am very uncomfortable in any making major decisions, alone, that will have [good or bad] implications for a long time to come. Alex made me feel comfortable and went slowly and was quick to clarify my moderate number of questions. His documentation follow-thru was completed as promised. I would not hesitate to use this service again.

I was laid off and was extremely concerned about possibly losing my home. If it wasn't for Nicola at Debt Helper, my home would have gone into foreclosure. Nicola assisted me through every step and made sure I understood the process. I hope no one loses their job, but if you do, there's help.

A session with Claudia to best understand an HECM was a pleasure . She answered all
questions, eliminating confusion and left us with a clear understanding of the
benefits and commitment to a RMF loan. We would refer anyone seeking advice to
Claudia.....outstanding counselor and lovely person! Thank you.

My mother and I faced a major hardship last year. The thought of losing our home to foreclosure was not an option. Debt helper has been the greatest blessing to ours lives. Being assigned specialists like Emma and Nicola really helped to make the process smooth. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude.
