Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County has been providing quality mentoring and advocacy for the most severely abused children in our community for the past 23 years. By matching trained community volunteers with a dependent child in Orange County's foster system, CASA helps these vulnerable children and teens heal from their abusive past while giving them the hope, skills and confidence for a positive future.

Reviews for Court Appointed Special Advocate

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Orange County is part of a large network that helps children in foster care. Volunteers like me spend time with a child or youth who is overseen by the Juvenile Court System. The Special Advocates are able to know the child's wants and needs and make them known to the court in ways that professionals often cannot due to their large caseloads. CASA makes permanence a priority for the children because research has found that many shifts in placement are not helpful. The volunteer Special Advocates work with professionals for what is best for the children.
