Bid Dog Ranch made it so easy to adopt my dog. They were amazing from telling me about the specifics of thes dogs and what they do. I adopted my dog in March and they made it so easy. Please donate or adopt from BDR!

Amazing organization, here it's all about the DOGS! The staff and facility are top rate! I have adopted twice from BDRR and have become their number one fan and frequent volunteer. Love, love, love Big Dog Ranch Rescue!

We adopted a beautiful dog from the Big Dog Ranch on June 13, 2015. Jake is the sweetest dog ever. He is so smart. He is good with adults, children, babies and all animals. Our dog of 16 years died on June 12th and the next day we were blessed with Jake. His name was Zeus there but he learned his new name in a couple of hours. He's the best!!!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

I adopted my dog from Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and the entire adoption process was a joy! Our relationship with the ranch didn't end when we took our pup home, it continued to grow as they would follow up to see how the pup was doing in his new home. I have since volunteered at the ranch for the last 5 years and I truly admire the passion that all the staff and volunteers possess. They are making a big difference in saving lives and I'm excited that they will be expanding into their new facility soon. I've watched BDRR grow into an incredible organization and I'm proud to be a part of it.

It is very rare to find a rescue facility that actually takes the necessary time and measures to make sure that a dog up for adoption is truly appropriate for an interested family (and vice versa). I am so grateful to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, as well as my recently adopted dog's foster mom, Judy, for making "finding the right match" such a high priority. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff are caring and helpful. My dog came to me spayed, fully vetted, well socialized, and with an honest, in-depth description of who she really is as a furry person. Her transition over the last two months into my household has been essentially seamless due to all the above care and precautions from BDRR, and I cannot thank them enough for that, or for enabling me to add my newest furry family member to our home. Thank you BDRR. Keep up the stellar work.

Five years ago, I walked inside BDRR and my life was changed. My intent was to teach my son about the less fortunate and play with some puppies. Little did I know, how much it was to be a part of my life. Big Dog Ranch Rescue not only saves the lives of innocent dogs but also strives to make the community a better place. I have adopted 2 dogs, 1 hospice foster and fostered over a hundred dogs. The dogs are given the best care during their stay while waiting for a forever home. Big Dog Ranch Rescue is by far a leader in it's class. I can not recommend this rescue enough!

On May 10th 2015 I brought my 2 boys to Big Dog Ranch Rescue to just look at puppies. We had just lost our 2 senior dogs in the last 4 months and we were thinking a new puppy would brighten our spirits. I had never Adopted from a rescue before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was so impressed with the facility, volunteers employees. Duke (Liam) was brought out to us and we immediately fell in love.. He wouldn't stop giving my boys kisses. He was obviously so well taken care of during his stay there. He has made a great addition to our family! I will continue to recommend them and adopt again.

This summer I started looking for a dog to join our "Pack", I have an 8 year old Rat Terrier. I started looking for one of two breeds, either a Carolina Dog (very difficult to find) or a Weimariner. During the search I came across Big Dog Ranch Rescue, made contact with them and discussed what I was looking for. I was assured there would be several dogs that met my requirements. After making the trip to BDRR I was introduced to Jordan a six year old Weimariner that is fabulously healthy and attentive. Jordan won my heart in just a few minutes, and I knew from the time we got into my Toyota I had made the right choice. Jordan is a fabulous addition to the pack, and one that will be here for years to come.
