Yonkers Assyrian American Association was organized in 1914, in which became Incorporated in 1921. Our Organization was the first of it's kind with in the Assyrian community to provide Christian Assyrian Across the globe to find refuge in United States. It provided support to thousands of Assyrians families that were looking for a beacon of hope and prosperity in this wonderful country that we call America. In addition to providing support to the Assyrian Community, it also provided support to the citizens of Yonkers since 1962 by providing a place for the community to gather and celebrate the special events in their lives.
