We are providing safe and practical skills training and education to help ensure sustainable livelihoods for women who have been left with no income and no skills, moving them from a fragile hope to a secure future.

Afghanistan - WTW has registered as an official NGO. We provide two womens training centers for classes and other activities. We have served more than 1000 women and girls (ages 13 to 38), teaching English, computer skills, secretarial skills and other classes in English. We have partnered with UNIFEM to provide the most up-to-date technology in our class room. Our second center is deep in an unreached area and offers literacy classes and a sewing, micro-enterprise business. Burkina Faso - Lycee Technical Academy is our partnering school that offers a technical education to the young people to prevent them from being sold into sex trafficking. The school offers trauma counseling to those who have suffered from the horrors of female genital mutilation. We believe that education is the key to stop these horrors and by having an education the young people are able to rise above these atrocities and gain hope for the future. Reviews for Women To The World Inc Margaret F Cudney

Rating: 5 stars

For the last twenty-seven years I have been a member, volunteer and mentor of Women to the World. The consistent integrity, excellence and impact on the communities in which Women to the World serves keeps Women to the World at the top of my list of worthy recipient of a donor's time, talent and resources.

Women to the World provides life saving entrepreneurial skills along with micro-enterprise loans enabling the most vulnerable part of our population, women and children to face their lives with hope for a future filled with dignity. Women to the World has projects in the United States, Africa, and Asia. Trips to all project sites make seeing believing. I am constantly challenged and satisfied to be a part of this dynamic organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Thirty years ago I was on the first trip to Asia. Women to the World began sponsoring orphans not just with funding but personally becoming involved with and caring about these your peoples lives and futures. Through the years, with consistent nurturing these youngsters have grown up with a passion for helping others. As adults these once hopeless children are now champions in their own setting providing life-saving resources and skills to hurting women and children through Women to the World.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The only change I would make in the Women to the World organization would be to encourage them to boldly ask for the resources necessary to maintain and increase this extraordinarily, program rich organization's vision.
