Target demographics: struggling working women seeking to improve their quality of lives; ages 18 - 55
Female entrepreneurs.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Women attending a program of higher education, or a female entrepreneurs.
Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Make phone calls, tutor a women, mentor; serve at an event; Fundraise, Perform administrative duties, marketing research.
Geographic areas served: Memphis ,TN, Chicago, IL and Thailand...expanding as our project expand.
Mission:
Women Identity Purpose (WIP) is dedicated to connecting and advancing women to improve their families' quality of life through increased wealth, health and education
Results:
So far In 2011, we have spent a lot of time building relationships with our community partners in order to target more women. We plan to elevate our fundraising next quarter to increase our pool of money for our Grady McKnight Awards.
In the recent past, some of the things we have done are:
*Given away money toward educational expenses; *Raised funds for Christmas gifts cards for struggling mothers
*Faciliated a back-to-school supply drive for an underfunded public school.
*Provided workshop presenters for resume writing, interviewing skills, healthy living, etc...

Volunteers were great for our event! Very interactive with children and families who were getting photos made with Santa. A big help in making sure our newest event component ran smoothly...
