Assistance in crisis pregnancy, counseling, job skills training and abstinence education for families in need.
Assistance in crisis pregnancy including free medical services, counseling, parenting education and baby supplies for families in need. Whispering hope administered 200 pregnancy tests, of which 159 were positive, and provided 131 ultrasound screenings. Whispering hope served 316 clients during 2014. Additionally, pregnant and new mothers attended 1,616 appointments which included classes in pregnance, parenting and bible studies earning credits to redeem for baby supplies such as diapers, food, equipment and furniture.

I started volunteering at Whispering Hope in the Spring of 2009, and I think what impresses me most about all of the staff and volunteers, both men and women, is how much they care for each individual client that comes through the door. Each women has a unique story and a unique situation, and each women needs unique solutions. We all try our best to meet their needs and to encourage them in their parenting journey.

I have seen many of these women gain confidence in their parenting abilities and in their lives. Sometimes they only need a little encouragement and sometimes they need direction. As a mentor, I listen and I care, and if needed, I help them explore options and new directions for their lives.

Whispering Hope is well run and extremely organized. I wish more people knew about it in our community.
