This school has one of the highest API scores in the Sacramento region. This school has an excellent acadamic performance record due to the amazing teachers, administrators and parents all working together.

Westlake Charter School is one of few bright spot in the Natomas education scene. I know that API is doesn't tell the whole story, but WCS has been consistently been one of the top performers in the Natomas area. What makes this school great is the combination of teachers, administrators, board of directors, and parents working together to teach our children.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I am very impressed with how parents and the school rolled up their sleeve to get things done.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Nothing at this point in time.

Highest API scores in the district. Only elementary school to offer PE, art, and Spansish every week to all students. Emphasis on multiculturalism and academic rigor.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

preparing our youth to face academic and social challenges.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

keep doing what they're already doing.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

interacting with an incredible group of engaged parents, dedicated faculty and staff.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

some of the most enaged, motivated, and dynamic individuals with whom I have ever had the pleasure to serve.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

dramatically expand services to prepare Sacramento youth for academic and social excellence.

Ways to make it better...

the school had more resources to expand and provide modern facilities.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

running out of space and dealing with state cuts to public education.

One thing I'd also say is that...
