Wesley House Family Services offers hope to families in Monroe County. In today's difficult economic challanges families have not only difficulty meeting their families financial well-being but also those challanges spill intio the family dynamics in the form of domestic abuse, dependency issues, neglect and education. WHFS works on a reunification program geared to keep families together, This is done with training. WHFS offers many programs to families and this is just one. Additionally, WHFS offers hope for a sustainable family for the future. Joe

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Watching programs work from Child day care, Child development, Family training for reunification, Foster parent training and child placement in foster care and adoptive services.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing the success through a childs smile when there was hopless feelings before

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Are very committed and giving of their time. Staff continues to recognize the important riole they plan in building families and helping children develop a worthwhile basis for hope and an understanding that they are important.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Change the struggle families have from day care issues, child development programs, troubled youth iniciatives, dependency education for parents, stronger parental education programs, improved and broader foster training and kids in distress programs.

Wesley House sees children as part of a family and provides more than services to children but to their families as well. People who come in contact with Wesley House can be assured of a committment to caring about their family and the community they live in. When Hurricane Wilma devastated our community Wesley House coordinated a massive effort to bring brand new clothing to all members of the community -young and old alike.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgable.

What would Monroe County do without Wesley House!? A safe and secure place to care for one's children while parents are at work. That's the key word, WORK! Which parents wouldn't otherwise be able to do without childcare.
