Mission:
Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania provides essential housing, employment and other vital supportive services to eligible veterans, service members and their families to improve self-sufficiency, sustainability and quality of life. Working in collaboration with over 100 local service providers, the Veterans Leadership Program is the only agency in Southwestern Pennsylvania which provides job search and retention assistance, career counseling, transitional and permanent housing, life skills training, and total case management of support services at no cost to veterans and their families as well as members of the National Guard and the Reserves.

when I came to the vlp, I just lost my job a d have two kids to raise, as a single father I fear that we would lose the apartment and be on the streets.
