My daughters have been attending thier after school program for the last three yeras and I couldn't be more please with the quality of care and the many wonderful teachings that they have received. The program offers them opportunities to learn about different cultures, provides them with coping and social skills. It teaches them tolerance and to love and respect themselves and others. As my girls are getting older and moving on, we will really miss the wonderful staff from whom they have learned so much, but I know that as my daughters grow up, love, self respect and tolerance will always be part of their inner core and values.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The work they do everyday to help my daughters and the rest of the children they serve become respectful young men and women with goals for a better future, positive values and a sense of selfworth

Working with Urgent, Inc./Rites of Passage for the past several years on an almost monthly basis has been a wonderful experience. The program is well-organized, with clearly defined goals. The girls are motivated to not only attend educational and career-related workshops on Saturday mornings, but to actively participate.

Urgent, Inc. has elevated young females self- esteem through awareness of their heritage, culture, nature, physical and leadership abilities. Those components will instill pride within themselves throughout their entire life. The girls seem to enjoy themselves with Urgent, Inc. Keep up the great service and work for the community!

I have attended the finale that presents what the girls have learned through out the whole enrinched summer camp. It is wonderful to view the outcome. In addition, the staff at Urgent, Inc. is respectful and kind towards the parents and children.

Urgent Inc. applies a holistic approach to providing intellectual stimulation and creative inspiration to inner-city girls who may not otherwise receive such exposure. The organization provides structured, fun, quality programming and positive role models for its participants. It has been interesting to observe how some of the girls who entered into the program with low self esteem and little self-efficacy have blossomed into beautiful and confident leaders amongst their peers. There are lots of opportunities for healthy and appropriate self-expression within realistic boundaries. Keep up the great and necessary work, urgent Inc.
