As a committed partner with the university of arizona, we nurture lifelong relationships with and among current and future wildcats while offering relevant and customer-focused programs that generate support and loyalty to the university.
Alumni programming for over 230,000 alumni. Programming includes on-campus events such as homecoming. During homecoming, alumni have a wide array of events to choose from including the viewing of the lighting of "a" mountain, homecoming kick-off event, class reunions, collegiate and campus showcase seminars, emeritus and all class luncheon, alumnus of the year awards ceremony, pep rally, and tents on the mall. The alumni association provides a nationwide network of affiliates/chapters that provide opportunities for alumni to stay engaged in their hometowns. The alumni association's off-campus programming includes events such as pre-game events, speaker series seminars, and summer send-offs.
student programming for over 36,000 currently enrolled students. Programming includes a scholarship program which awards over 1,100,000 annually to students from across the nation and a mentorship/retention program the scholarship recipients. The student alumni ambassadors (saa) is a student group of over 500 students whose mission is to provide students with networking opportunities with alumni and to promote ua heritage and traditions. This is accomplished in collaboration with the bobcats senior honorary.
alumni publications to over 190,000 households. These publications include a magazine which is published three times a year (also available online), a travel program brochure issued once a year promoting the 35 alumni travel tours offered each year, various mailers sent throughout the year, and a website which provides up-to-date comprehensive information regarding all alumni association programming.
maintenance and updating of 290,000 alumni records for use by all the university of arizona college and departments, the travel program and astronomy camp, and management of alumni travel program.
