Programs: Uscaa energy services helps keep low income families safe and healthy through programs that assist with energy cost. We help low-income families in jackson, clay, and platte counties in missouri with paying their home gas and electric energy bills during the heating and cooling season. These programs are designed to help low income people stretch limited resource. They include: 1) an annual subsidy of $300 per qualifying family, and 2) crisis intervention payments (up to $800 annually) for families about to have their energy utilities disconnected and/or reconnected. Over 17,000 households were impacted in jackson, clay and platte counties in missouri through our energy services programs. Or service previously terminated. In addition to crisis situations, air condition units are available to eligible households (income qualified)
