Trinity Rescue is the most rewarding and wonderful rescue for horses and donkeys that I have had the great pleasure of helping out at since June, 2015. The owners/managers know everything about equine handling and health. I don't believe that there are any amount of words that can truly portray how much each and every horse, mini horse and donkey there are so loved and taken care of. The leaders and volunteers are quite helpful and understanding and give great direction in how to proceed with daily chores and other things that the horses need. I am proud to be an active volunteer at Trinity Rescue, and recommend highly.

I discovered Trinity Rescue and began helping out on June 14, 2015. The founders and owners (Cynthia and Joey Heaton) have made me a great admirer of their hard work and dedication to horses and donkeys who have been neglected, starved, abused and/or need emergency help and rescue. I decided that I wanted to help out more and more, and perhaps learn more about horses and how to take special care of them. We all work together to help the leaders and other volunteers that come to Trinity Rescue. Our activities include feeding, giving water, hay and other special feedings. Appropriate medical treatment is given to those who are due for their shots and perhaps surgical intervention to try to get these precious horses and donkeys better. There are no amount of words that I can say that truly expresses the experiences I have had thus far at Trinity Rescue. When I realize the dream that came true for Cynthia and Joey, I say to myself "where there's a will, there is a way". After all, it is the responsibility of every human being to love, take care of and be the voice of God's creatures. Trinity Rescue has my ultimate love and respect and I will continue to help them as much as possible.

We were in search of a riding companion for my granddaughter, her riding instructor contacted trinity and told her what we were looking for.. At trinity we found Snow White the complete companion for Jacy. They met one afternoon and snow was so sweet and gentle. Jacy groomed and talked and kissed snow constantly. We left and Jacy told me she loved her and they needed each other....
We put the application in and set the ball rolling. Month later we went to pick up snow and the journey began. What a great group of people at Trinity rescue. When we visited snow we were constantly given updates and told how sweet she was and what she liked and how well she was improving. They knew her personality and you could tell all the animals were treated carefully and cared for deeply by the staff and volunteers . Cynthia made the process with a purpose driven of finding the right place for snow with a piece of her heart she placed snow with us and we have grown to love her so much. We board her at Silby farms and Sam and ms. Sandy have helped and taught us so much about caring and taking care of snow. She gets so much attention from all the girls that take lessons and everyone loves snow, she is so gentle and sweet and was a perfect fit for a sweet, timid young rider. Thank you Trinity, Cynthia and volunteers, for giving your time and the hard work it takes to maintain a place for the needy
Resourceful and needed place.

I've seen Trinity Rescue do some wonderful things with the horses they've rescued in the past few years. It's wonderful that this committed group are willing to help horses that have been injured, neglected or abused. They also coordinate with other rescues in the state and offer assistance to them. I'm happy to support their efforts.

I came across this rescue and Cynthia and Joey after I moved out of Georgia and returned for a visit. They were so welcoming and accommodating. The horses are well cared for and the property is beautiful. I had a life long fear of horses and now I follow every update and feel bonded to all in their care. I wish I were back in Georgia as I would love to volunteer my time. All the horses are so curious and happy with the attention they receive from their humans.

I love Trinity Rescue! I've volunteered a a few horse rescues before but this one is by far the most organized one. The team members really care for the horses and do everything they can to help them. Most of the horses that make it to a a trinity improve dramatically over the course of just a few weeks. The horses are even introduced to training for rehomming. Such a clean and friendly environment, it makes you never want to leave!

Trinity Rescue is a heaven-sent haven for horses that have been discarded and/or abused. Joey and Cynthia Heaton, the owners, have hearts of gold! The rescue horses and donkeys are family to them; as are the volunteers! I treasure my time volunteering, and am so thankful for such a place!

I cannot say enough great things about Trinity Rescue!! I have truly found a second home there as a volunteer, and wish I could come out 7 days a week. Cynthia & Joey Heaton have provided a safe haven to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Rehome these precious horses that need to be saved! The horses are part of the family, and the adoption process is designed to create a forever home for their future. The volunteers are part of the family, too, and are able to be involved in all areas of horse care and operation of the rescue. I strongly recommend them if you are looking to adopt a horse, volunteer, or support a worthy cause!!
