The mission of this is the place foundation is to educate the public about the history, culture, and contemporary legacy of utah's early settlers and the cultures, groups, and indigenous peoples with whom they interacted through interpretive programs, living history experiences, research and exhibits.
Interpret utah's pioneer heritage by recreating history in a pioneer village dated from 1840 to 1869. Village includes over 40 historical buildings, thousands of artifacts, and events that are interpreted by volunteers and staff, and the maintenance and operation of the park. Park improvements: improve the park and its pioneer village. Includes the addition of historical buildings.
