Mission: Community based professional theatre staging theatrical productions and offering actor training programs for youths and adults.

Programs: Chelsea theatre works: performing arts center-houses training program for chelsea's youth & adults, 100 seat theatre and exhibition space for local artists. The center opened in 2003 and serves as the anchor to chelsea's proposed cultural district.

chelsea youth theatre: youth program offers classes in acting,art,singing, dance and production for students ages 5-18 from chelsea and surrounding communities. Tuition is 25-40 and subsidized for those in need. Students have been involved in apollinaire theatre productions as volunteers and performers.

theatrical productions: since opening the chelsea theatreworks in 2003, theatrezone dba apollinaire theatre co has produced over 50 plays including a tour to the edinburgh fringe festival and actors revenge and an orignal play, chelsea girl, about the life of long time volunteer,ida rudolph. In 2012, 3 nominations were received and outstanding director was awarded. Outstanding production was awarded for 2014s "stupid bird" theatre inthe park features bilingual outdoor free summer productions. The first summers we produced lorca's blood wedding, the house of alba, chekhov's the seagull. Also produced was rhinoceros, the visit, hidden in this picture,the real inspector hound. In 2009, we presented the wedding on the eiffel tower, and cyrano de bergerac in 2010. In 2012, rosencrantz and guilenstern are dead was produced. In 2013 bertolot brecht's the caucasian chalk circle was produced.

actor training program: offers classes for adults in acting,improvisation and audition technique. This program brings new energy into the company and former students often become active volunteers both in production and fundraising capacities.
