Interfaith Hospitality Network of Hunterdon County was begun nearly ten years ago when a concerned group of clergy and other individuals banded together to assist people who became homeless in this county. The efforts were modeled on the work begun in 1986 in Union County, by Karen Olsen, the Executive Director of National Interfaith Hospitality Network.
In its ten years of operation IHN-HC has provided over 20,000 nights shelter to over 500 individuals, more than half of whom were children.
IHN respects our clients dignity and strives to enhance their self-sufficiency.
