I work with the best, most dedicated, and compassionate people at Tacoma Community House. People really care about the work we do here. Everybody wants to make people's lives better - whether it's through education, employment, immigration, or client advocacy (crime victim support).

I was trained as a volunteer tutor for illiterate adults. This organization teaches adults to read, helps with citizenship, helps them get GEDs and learn how to be employable. It is a second chance and what America is all about.
